Kylie is the first album ever released by the famous Australian singer Kylie Minogue. It came out on July 4, 1988, through Mushroom Records. Before becoming a pop star, Kylie was already well-known as a young actress.
Her first song, "Locomotion", was a huge hit. This led her to work with a famous music production team called Stock, Aitken and Waterman. They produced the entire album and wrote most of its songs. The recording sessions happened in London and Melbourne while Kylie was also filming for the TV show Neighbours.
