LaShun Pace (born September 6, 1961 – died March 21, 2022) was a famous American gospel singer, songwriter, and evangelist. Her full name was Tarrian LaShun Pace. She was also known as LaShun Pace-Rhodes. LaShun Pace was nominated for a Grammy Award. She also won a Stellar Award for her amazing music.

Her Early Life and School
LaShun Pace was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the fifth of ten children. Her parents were Pastor Murphy J. Pace and Bettie Ann Pace. LaShun and her brothers and sisters grew up in a small place called Poole Creek.
She went to Walter F. George High School. This school is now known as South Atlanta High School. LaShun graduated from high school in 1979.
Her Music Career
LaShun Pace started singing professionally when she was a teenager. This was in the mid-1970s. She first sang by herself. Later, she sang with her sisters in a group. This group was called The Anointed Pace Sisters. They formed in the late 1980s.
LaShun learned a lot about singing and ministering. She toured with Rev. Gene Martin and the Action Revival Team. In 1988, she recorded a song called In the House of the Lord. She sang with Dr. Jonathan Greer and the Cathedral of Faith Church of God in Christ Choirs. This song was for Savoy Records.
Savoy Records soon signed LaShun as a solo artist. In 1990, she released her first album, He Lives. This album reached number two on the Billboard gospel charts. It included her very famous song "I Know I've Been Changed." Her next song, Shekinah Glory, came out in 1993.
Three years later, Pace released Wealthy Place. This album had the song "Act Like You Know." She sang this song with Karen Clark Sheard. She also released other albums like 1998's Just Because God Said It.
LaShun Pace also had a career as an actress. She played the Angel of Mercy in the 1992 Steve Martin movie Leap of Faith. In 2007, LaShun Pace was honored. She was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame. She was supposed to attend the ceremony, but she became ill. In 2009, LaShun was nominated for Urban Performer of the Year. This was for the Visionary Awards.
Her Family Life
LaShun Pace was married to Edward Rhodes. He was a pastor from Georgia. They were married from 1986 until 1999. They had two daughters together. Their names were Xenia Pace Rhodes and Aarion Pace Rhodes.
Sadly, Xenia Pace Rhodes passed away in 2001. She had an enlarged heart. In 2003, LaShun Pace wrote a book about her life. It was called For My Good But For His Glory. In her book, she talked about many things, including the death of her daughter.
Her Later Years and Passing
LaShun Pace had been on dialysis for several years. She was waiting for a kidney transplant. According to her family, she passed away on March 21, 2022. She was 60 years old. Her family said she died from organ failure.
