LaToya Howard, known online as LaToya Forever, is a popular Canadian YouTube personality and author. She is famous for her main YouTube channel, "LaToya Forever," and her video blog channel, "LaToya's Life." In 2012, she hosted Vibe TV at the American Music Awards. She also took part in the Buffer Festival in 2015 and 2017. Her main YouTube channel has over 1 million subscribers. It also has more than 125 million views. LaToya released her first book, an autobiography, on November 8, 2016. It is called "LaToya's Life: Uncut Mishaps of a YouTube Star."

Early Life and Moving Around
LaToya Howard was born in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. Her father, Nigel Wilson, was a professional baseball player. Her mother is Debbie Howard. Both of her parents are from Trinidad. LaToya has seven younger brothers and sisters.
When LaToya was around 11 to 14 years old, her family moved to the United States. They moved so her mother could go to college. While living in the U.S., LaToya's family moved often. This made it hard for her to make close friends. Because of this, she started making videos and sharing them online. This became a way for her to express her feelings. Later, she moved back to Toronto, Ontario.
LaToya's Online Career
LaToya started sharing videos in 2009. In 2010, she launched her YouTube channel, "LaToya Forever." On this channel, she posted funny skits and jokes. She wanted to entertain herself and others.
Starting a Vlog
When she was expecting her first child, Samia, LaToya started a video blog. This is often called a Vlog. She created a new channel called "LaToya's Life." This channel showed "reality show" style content about her daily life. In 2012, she was chosen to be the Vibe TV host for the American Music Awards. In 2015, she launched the "LaToya Forever App." This app helped her fans watch her videos easily.
YouTube Events and Partnerships
YouTube made "LaToya Forever" their official correspondent. This was for the "YouTube FanFest Live" event on May 2, 2015. In June 2016, she worked with Gone Viral TV (GVTV). In October 2016, she released a new mobile game. It was an endless runner game called Save Samia. In the game, users race through Toronto to get her daughter, Samia, to school on time.
LaToya's daughter, Samia Ali, also has her own YouTube channel. She has over 190,000 subscribers. LaToya created a review of Rihanna's Fenty Beauty products. Rihanna herself shared this review on her Instagram. This brought LaToya a lot of attention from media outlets. These included Cosmopolitan, Huffington Post, and Elle.
LaToya on Television
LaToya Howard appeared on Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She was a "Friend of the Housewives." She was supposed to be a full-time cast member. However, her ex-husband did not want their children to be shown on the show. Because of this, her role was changed.

Besides her video work, LaToya has also written books. She created an e-book called How to become a YouTube Sensation.
