La Concepción is a town in Panama. It is located in the Chiriquí Province, within the Bugaba District. This town is very important because it is the main administrative center, or "seat," of the Bugaba District.
The area of La Concepción is about 66.9 square kilometers (25.8 square miles). In 2010, the town had a population of 21,356 people. This means that about 319 people lived in each square kilometer. The population has grown over the years. In 1990, there were 17,978 people, and by 2000, it grew to 19,330.
