What is La Presa?
The La Presa borough gets its name from the Abelardo L. Rodríguez Dam. "Presa" means "Dam" in English. However, the dam itself is not actually inside the borough's borders.
Where is La Presa Located?
It's easy to get La Presa borough mixed up with some neighborhoods that also have "La Presa" in their name. These neighborhoods are located northwest of the dam and are part of the La Mesa borough.
La Presa borough includes an important area called the El Florido industrial park. It also has several neighborhoods that are named "El Florido."
