Judith Wambura Mbibo (born on June 15, 1979), known as Lady Jaydee, is a very popular singer from Tanzania. People also call her "Lady JayDee in town" or "Lady Jay Dee." She sings R&B, Zouk, and Afro Pop music.
Lady Jaydee was named the Best Tanzanian Female R&B Artist in 2002. She also performed at the Kora All Africa Designers Competition. On August 6, 2004, she won an award for "Best R&B Album" at the Tanzania Music Awards. In July 2005, she received an award for "best female video" in South Africa. She was one of the first women to sing R&B in the Swahili language. Lady Jaydee is signed with Taurus Musik, a big music label in Africa. She is also known as the Queen of Bongo Flava, which is a type of Tanzanian music.

Early Life and Education
Lady Jaydee was born in Shinyanga, Tanzania. She grew up in a family with ten children. Her father was Lameck Mbibo, and her mother is Martha Mbibo.
She went to Bugoyi Primary School in Shinyanga. Later, she completed her secondary education at Zanaki Secondary School. In 2017, Lady Jaydee signed a music deal with Taurus Musik. This is the same music label that works with Alicios Theluji.
Working with Brands
Lady Jaydee has worked with many different brands and organizations. She helps them share important messages.
- In 2009, she became an ambassador for Zain Tanzania, which is now called Airtel Tanzania.
- In 2010, she was chosen by Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation In Tanzania (CCBRT). She became their ambassador to help women who were suffering from a health issue called Fistula.
- In 2012, she worked as an ambassador for NMB (National Microfinance Bank) Tanzania. This was for a project called "PESA FASTA."
- In March 2014, she signed a deal with Oriflame Sweden. This is a well-known international cosmetics brand. She became one of their brand ambassadors.
- In 2014, Marie Stopes Tanzania asked her to be their ambassador for Family Planning in Tanzania.
- In June 2015, she partnered with Tanzania Geita Gold Mine. She became an ambassador for their "Kill Challenge Fund Against HIV/AIDS" project.

Lady Jaydee has been part of important music shows.
- In 2013, Lady Jaydee was on Coke Studio Africa in its first season. She performed her popular songs "Joto Hasira" and "Yahaya." She also worked with Salif Keita, a famous African music legend from Mali. She worked closely with the show's music director, Franck Biyong.
