Laja Falls

Laja Falls (also known as Salto del Laja in Spanish) is a beautiful waterfall system found in south-central Chile. These amazing falls are part of the Laja River. They are located right next to the old Pan-American Highway, which is a famous road that stretches across many countries. You can find them between the cities of Los Ángeles and Chillán.

Below the falls, the river has carved out a deep, narrow valley called a canyon. This shows how powerful the water has been over many years!

What are Laja Falls?

Laja Falls isn't just one waterfall; it's actually a group of four separate waterfalls! Each one is shaped like a horseshoe. They are spread out across different parts, or "arms," of the Laja River.
