Lake Lachard, also known as Lake La Chard, is a small, oval-shaped lake in Florida. It is located about 0.25 miles (0.40 km) south of Lake June in Winter. This freshwater lake covers an area of about 17.89 acres (7.24 hectares).
Even though Lake Lachard is surrounded by the city of Lake Placid, Florida, the lake itself and a small area around its shore are not part of the city. Most of the land around the lake is empty. In 2013, some of this land was shaped by large machines. There are four homes on the southeast side of the lake.
