Lam Manyee (Chinese: 林敏怡) is a talented composer and music producer from Hong Kong. She is known for creating many different kinds of music, from classical pieces to pop songs and film scores.
Early Life
Lam Manyee was born in Hong Kong on September 10, 1950.
Education and Learning
Lam Manyee first studied at the University of Hong Kong. There, she learned about psychology and sociology. After that, she decided to follow her passion for music.
She went to the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, Italy. From 1973 to 1976, she studied piano with a famous composer named Franco Evangelisti. Later, she also studied how to compose music at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg. In 2009, she also became qualified as a naturopathic practitioner.
Music Career
Lam Manyee has had a very busy and successful career in music. She has composed music in both Hong Kong and the United States. Her work includes many different styles and types of music.
She has written music for large orchestras and for solo instruments. She has also composed many pieces for ballet, which are dance performances set to music. Lam Manyee is also well-known for her work in film and television. She has created music for over 50 movies and many TV shows. On top of that, she has composed more than 150 pop songs!
