Lamb is a small, unincorporated community located in Switzerland County, Indiana. It is part of Craig Township. An unincorporated community is a place that is not officially governed by its own local city or town government.
History of Lamb
Long ago, this community was sometimes known by a different name, Erin. The area that would become Lamb started around the year 1815.
A post office was opened in Lamb in 1882. This post office helped people send and receive mail. However, it closed down in 1907.
