Lamia Chafei Seghaier studied hard to become an engineer. She earned a master's degree in electrical engineering from two different universities: the National School of Engineering, Monastir in Tunisia and the University of Technology of Compiègne in France.

After finishing her studies, Seghaier started her career in 1993. She worked as a network engineer for a private company. This job involved setting up and managing computer networks.

Working with the Internet

In 1996, Lamia Chafei Seghaier joined the Tunisian Internet Agency. This agency helps manage and develop the internet in Tunisia. She held several important positions there:
