Larbi Ben Salah Abid (Arabic: العربي بن صالح عبيد) was born on June 30, 1953, in Korba, Tunisia. He is a politician from Tunisia. From 2011 to 2014, he served as the second vice-president of the Constituent assembly. This assembly was a special group that helped create new rules for Tunisia.
Larbi Ben Salah Abid's Life and Career
Larbi Ben Salah Abid completed his high school education in 1974. He then went on to study law. In 1981, he earned a master's degree in private law. He also received a special certificate that allowed him to become a lawyer.
He started his career working in the insurance business. After five years, he became a lawyer. From 2001 to 2004, he was a member of the National Bar Association in Tunisia. This is an organization for lawyers in the country.

Larbi Ben Salah Abid has always cared about human rights. He became a member of the Tunisian Human Rights League when it was first created. This group works to protect people's rights in Tunisia.
