Larry Demic (born June 27, 1957) is a former professional basketball player from the United States. He played as a power forward. Larry is best known for his time with the New York Knicks in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He also played college basketball for the Arizona Wildcats.
Larry Demic's Basketball Journey
Larry Demic was a talented basketball player. He played college basketball for the Arizona Wildcats from 1975 to 1979. During his time there, he was recognized as a top player. In 1979, he was chosen for the First-team All-Pac-10. This means he was one of the best players in his college conference.
Joining the NBA
After his successful college career, Larry Demic was ready for the professional league. In the 1979 NBA draft, he was a highly sought-after player. The New York Knicks picked him in the first round. He was the ninth player chosen overall in that draft.
