Larry the Lawnmower is a fun Australian animated TV show made for young children. It's all about a friendly lawnmower named Larry and his garden tool friends who go on exciting adventures right in a backyard! The show was created by Tim Faircloth and first aired in Australia.
About the Show
This popular series follows Larry the Lawnmower and his four best friends: Wheelie the Wheelbarrow, Rosie the Rake, Tangles the Hose, and Flash the Spade. Together, they explore the backyard, learning new things and solving small problems. The show is narrated by Jay Laga'aia, who also provides the voices for all the characters. This means he does all the different voices for Larry, Wheelie, Rosie, Tangles, and Flash!
Where and When It Aired
Larry the Lawnmower first appeared on TV on 9 December 2008, starting at 11:00 AM. A second season of the show began airing shortly after, on 16 February 2009. Because the show was so popular with kids and families, it was announced on 21 May 2009 that the series would be repeated. This meant viewers could watch their favorite episodes again!
The show was broadcast in Australia on the Seven Network. In the United States, it was shown on the Smile TV network. Even years after its original run, reruns of Larry the Lawnmower were still being shown. For example, in December 2015, episodes aired on the 7TWO channel until early 2016. They even came back for more reruns in May 2017 and January 2018, showing how much people enjoyed watching Larry and his friends!
