Lars van der Haar (born on July 23, 1991, in Amersfoort, Netherlands) is a professional cyclist from the Netherlands. He is well-known for his skills in cyclo-cross, which is a type of bicycle racing that involves riding on different kinds of terrain. He also competes in road cycling races.

Lars's Cycling Journey
Lars van der Haar started his professional cycling career in 2010. He joined a development team in 2014. This team helps young riders improve their skills. Later, he moved up to the main professional team in 2015. He has been riding for the Telenet–Fidea Lions team since 2017.

Cyclo-cross is a challenging bike race. Riders go on short courses that have grass, mud, sand, and hills. They sometimes have to get off their bikes and carry them over obstacles. It's a very exciting sport to watch!

He won the overall UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup in the 2013–14 season. This is a series of races held around the world. He has won nine individual World Cup races. Lars also won the Cyclo-cross Superprestige series in 2022–23 and the Cyclo-cross Trophy in 2023–24.

Lars has won several medals at the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships.
