Las Flores, also known as Balneario Las Flores, is a fun beach resort in the Maldonado Department of southeastern Uruguay. It's a great place for vacations and relaxing by the sea!
Geography
This resort is located right on the coast of the Río de la Plata. You can find it along Route 10. It's about 2.5 kilometers south of Estación Las Flores. It's also close to the main highway, Ruta Interbalnearia.
Las Flores is next to other resorts. To its west, you'll find Bella Vista. To its east, it borders Playa Verde. A small stream called Arroyo Tarariras separates Las Flores from Playa Verde.
Population
In 2011, Las Flores had 241 people living there all the time. There were also 527 homes, many of which are likely vacation houses. The number of people living here has slowly grown over the years.
