Las Tusas is a small community in New Mexico, United States. It's located in Cibola County. A "census-designated place" (CDP) is an area that looks like a town but isn't officially incorporated. In 2010, this place was called Bluewater Acres. Back then, about 206 people lived there.

Las Tusas is in the northwest part of Cibola County. It's close to the southern end of Bluewater Lake. This lake is a reservoir on Bluewater Creek.
Roads and Travel
New Mexico State Road 612 (also called Bluewater Road) goes north from Las Tusas. It travels about 12 miles (19 km) to Thoreau. From Thoreau, you can reach Interstate 40. There's also a Forest Service road. This road goes south through Cibola National Forest. It leads about 25 miles (40 km) to NM 53. This area is near the Continental Divide.
Land Area
The United States Census Bureau says that the Las Tusas CDP covers about 3.3 square kilometers (1.3 sq mi). All of this area is land. There is no water within the CDP boundaries.
