Latyna M. Humphrey is an American politician. She is a member of the Ohio House of Representatives. She represents the 2nd district. She first took office on October 13, 2021.

About Latyna Humphrey
Early Life and Schooling
Latyna Humphrey was born in Columbus, Ohio. She went to Columbus East High School. She earned an Associate of Arts degree from Columbus State Community College. She also studied at Franklin University. There, she worked towards a Bachelor of Science degree in applied psychology.
Her Career Journey
Latyna Humphrey started her career in banking. From 2014 to 2015, she worked as a bank teller at PNC Financial Services. Later, from 2016 to 2019, she worked at Huntington National Bank. She was part of their Residential Estate Technical Services Department.
From 2019 to 2021, she served the Franklin County Auditor's Office. She was in charge of Community Relations for Mr. Michael Stinziano. She also worked as a bailiff in the Ohio Court of Common Pleas. She worked for Judge Carl Aveni.
Leadership and Public Service
From February 2018 until 2021, Latyna Humphrey was the president and CEO of the Central Ohio Young Black Democrats. She was the first woman to hold this position. In 2021, she became the secretary of the Franklin County Democratic Party's Central Committee.
Humphrey is also an author and public speaker. She has given speeches at many universities. These include Columbia University and The Ohio State University. She was appointed to the Ohio House of Representatives in October 2021. She took over from Erica Crawley.
