Laura Bowman (born October 3, 1881 – died March 29, 1957) was a talented American actress. She performed on stage, on the radio, and in movies.

Laura Bowman's Early Life and Stage Adventures

Laura Bowman was born in Quincy, Illinois. She grew up in Cincinnati. Early in the 1900s, she performed in a show called In Dahomey in London. She was with her husband, Pete Hampton, at that time.

In 1916, Laura joined the Lafayette Players. This was a famous acting group from Harlem, New York. She worked with them for several years, performing in many plays.
