LeJuene Thompson, born Frances LeJuene Hayes on May 15, 1970, is an American gospel singer and artist. She began her music journey in 2001. Her first album, Soul Inspiration, was released by EMI Gospel. This album became very popular, appearing on Billboard magazine's music charts. It reached high spots on both the Gospel Albums and Christian Albums charts. She later released two more albums: Metamorphosis in 2008 and Evolution of Me in 2012.

Early Life and Musical Beginnings

LeJuene Thompson was born Frances LeJuene Hayes on May 15, 1970. She grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina. She was the ninth of ten children in her family. Her parents divorced when she was young.

When LeJuene was with her mother, she listened to religious music. Her mom was a minister, which means she led religious services. When LeJuene visited her father, she listened to other types of music. She especially loved the singing of Al Green. Before starting her solo career, LeJuene was a member of a group called The Tri-City Singers.

LeJuene Thompson's Music Career

LeJuene Thompson started her solo music career in 2001. Her first album, Soul Inspiration, came out on September 25, 2001. It was released by EMI Gospel. This album was a big success for her.

Soul Inspiration appeared on the Billboard magazine charts. It reached number 17 on the Gospel Albums chart. It also reached number 40 on the Christian Albums chart. A music reviewer from Cross Rhythms magazine said the album was "excellent."

Her second album, Metamorphosis, was released on February 2, 2008. This album was put out by LeCe Entertainment. Another reviewer from Cross Rhythms praised her "impressive vocals." LeJuene's third album, Evolution of Me, came out in 2012. It was released by Fontana Records.

Personal Life and Family

LeJuene Thompson is married to Cedric Thompson. Cedric is from Anderson, South Carolina. He is a very successful music producer. He has won both a Grammy Award and a Stellar Award for his work.

LeJuene and Cedric have three sons. Their names are Cedric Jr., Christopher, and Chandler. The family lives in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Besides her music, LeJuene is also a businesswoman. She is the founder and CEO of an organization called Buttrfly Girls. She started this group on June 1, 2013. LeJuene and her husband also own and run their own company, LeCe Entertainment.
