Richard Leonard 'Len' Tuckey is a talented Scottish musician, songwriter, and record producer. He has had a long and successful career in music, lasting over 40 years! Len is best known for being the lead guitarist for the famous rock star Suzi Quatro in the 1970s. He also helped write many of her popular songs, like "Mama's Boy."

Len Tuckey's Musical Journey
Early Bands and Rise to Fame
Len Tuckey started his musical journey in the 1960s. He was a member of two bands called The Chasers and The Riot Squad. These were his first steps into the world of rock and roll!
In 1968, Len joined a band called the Nashville Teens. This group was already well-known for their hit song "Tobacco Road." Being part of this band helped Len gain more experience as a guitarist.
Joining Suzi Quatro's Band
The biggest moment in Len's career came in 1972. He became the lead guitarist for Suzi Quatro, a groundbreaking female rock musician. With Suzi Quatro, Len traveled the world and became famous for his guitar playing. He also helped write many of her songs, which became big hits.
After Suzi Quatro
After playing with Suzi Quatro for many years, Len Tuckey continued to work in music. He formed a blues-rock band called "Legend" with Bill Legend, who was the drummer for the famous band T. Rex. Len also spent some time managing a version of the band Slade, which included original members Dave Hill and Don Powell. He has continued to be active in music since the 1960s, showing his lasting passion for rock and roll.

In 1976, Len Tuckey married Suzi Quatro. They had two children together: a daughter named Laura, born in 1982, and a son named Richard Leonard, born in 1984. Len and Suzi later divorced in 1992.
