Lene Dammand Lund (born 30 November 1963) is a Danish architect and educator. She is known for her important work in architecture and design. Since April 2012, she has been the head, or rector, of the schools of architecture, design, and conservation at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. This means she leads these schools and helps guide their future.

Becoming an Architect and Educator

Lene Dammand Lund started her journey by studying architecture. She attended the Aarhus School of Architecture in Denmark. She worked hard and graduated from this school in 1991.

Later, in 2004, she continued her education. She earned a special degree called an MBA from the Copenhagen Business School. An MBA helps people learn how to manage businesses and organizations.

Her Career Path

After finishing her studies, Lene Dammand Lund worked in many different places. She gained experience at both Danish and international design companies. This helped her learn about different styles and ways of designing buildings.

From 1995 to 2002, she was the editor of a Danish architecture magazine. The magazine was called Arkitekten. Being an editor means she was in charge of what was published in the magazine.

Later, from 2006 to 2012, she was the managing director of a company called SLA. This company focused on urban development. Urban development means planning and designing cities and towns. She also served on the boards of other companies, helping to guide their decisions.
