Leonorilda Ochoa Pagaza (born October 30, 1938 – died May 22, 2016) was a well-known Mexican actress and comedian. She appeared in many movies, TV shows, and theater plays. She became very famous for playing the character La Pecas in the popular TV comedy show Los Beverly de Peralvillo, which ran from 1968 to 1973.

Her Early Life
Leonorilda Ochoa was born in Mexico City. She was the fourth of five children in her family. Her father, Rubén Ochoa Silva, was a talented musician who played the violin and bass in Mexico City's orchestra. Leonorilda started performing at just 14 years old. She appeared on a radio show called Los aficionados on the XEW radio station. She also studied accounting for two years before becoming a full-time actress.
Her Acting Career
One of Leonorilda's first professional jobs was as a showgirl for a group called the Quinteto de los Hermanos Salinas. She then appeared in early television shows like Variedades del mediodía (1954) and Cómicos y canciones (1956).
Becoming a TV Star
Leonorilda's big break in television came with the comedy show Chucherías in 1962. But her most successful and famous TV role was playing La Pecas. This character was the wife of Guillermo Rivas's character in Los Beverly de Peralvillo. This show was a sitcom about a big, funny family and was very popular.
Movies and Awards
In 1967, Leonorilda was nominated for a special award called the Silver Goddess Award for Best Supporting Actress. This was for her work in the movie Despedida de soltera (1966). She also starred with the famous comedian Gaspar Henaine in the movie Capulina Speedy González (1970). She played La Pecas again in the movies Los Beverly de Peralvillo (1971) and Que familia tan cotorra! (1973). She also returned as La Pecas in a later TV show called Los nuevos Beverlys in 1996.
Later Roles
Leonorilda's last acting appearances were in the TV soap operas Rubí (2004) and Código postal (2006-2007). She passed away at the age of 78 in 2016.
