It has grey rough to flaky bark lower on the stem and smooth above and angular branchlets. The leaves are glossy green with a blade that is lanceolate to falcate and are 5 to 10 centimetres (2 to 4 in) long and approximately 1.6 centimetres (1 in) wide.
