The Leuchar Burn is a small stream in Scotland. It starts its journey in the Loch of Skene, which is a lake in Aberdeenshire. This burn is an important part of the local water system.
Where Does Leuchar Burn Flow?
The Leuchar Burn begins its flow heading south from the Loch of Skene. As it gets closer to the area known as Royal Deeside, the stream changes direction. It then flows towards the southeast.
Leuchar Burn's Path and Boundaries
The Leuchar Burn acts as a natural border for a while. It separates Aberdeenshire from Aberdeen City. After this, the stream turns south again.
Joining Other Waterways
Finally, the Leuchar Burn joins another stream called the Culter Burn. The Culter Burn then flows into the larger River Dee. This meeting point is near the village of Peterculter.
