Levanna, Ohio facts for kids
Levanna is a small, unincorporated community located in Union Township, which is part of Brown County in the state of Ohio, USA. An "unincorporated community" means it's a place where people live, but it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town does.
History
The first people settled in the area now known as Levanna way back in 1799. This was a time when many new communities were starting in the Northwest Territory, which Ohio was once a part of.
Levanna also had a post office for many years. It first opened in 1822, helping people send and receive letters and packages. It closed for a while in 1831 but then reopened in 1867. The post office finally closed permanently in 1932.
