The IRT Lexington Avenue Line is one of the oldest subway lines in New York City. At this station, you can catch the 6 train.
If you are heading uptown on the 6 train, the next station after 51st Street is 59th Street. If you are heading downtown, the next stop is Grand Central–42nd Street.
IND Queens Boulevard Line
The IND Queens Boulevard Line is another major subway line. At this station, you can catch the E and M trains.
If you are heading towards Queens on the E or M train, the next station after 51st Street is Court Square–23rd Street. If you are heading towards Manhattan, the next stop is 5th Avenue/53rd Street.
