Liberty is a small community in Bear Lake County, Idaho, United States. It is not an official city or town with its own local government. Instead, it is called an "unincorporated community." Liberty is located about 6.75 miles (10.86 km) north of Paris, Idaho, along U.S. Route 30.
History of Liberty
Early Settlers
The area where Liberty is located was first settled in 1864. These early settlers were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They were led by a person named Charles C. Rich.

Over the years, the number of people living in Liberty has changed.
