Liberty Center is a small, unincorporated community in southern Warren County, Iowa, in the United States. An unincorporated community means it's not officially a city or town with its own local government.
It is located along U.S. Route 65, which is a major road. Liberty Center is south of Indianola, which is the main city and county seat of Warren County. The area is about 1,024 feet (312 meters) above sea level. Even though it's not a city, Liberty Center has its own post office. This post office has been open for a very long time, since March 7, 1865.
History of Liberty Center
Liberty Center was officially started and laid out in 1875. This means its streets and lots were planned out. In 1915, the community had about 74 people living there. By 1940, the number of people living in Liberty Center grew to 130.

The Southeast Warren Community School District has its main office right here in Liberty Center. This school district was created in 1959. It was formed when several smaller schools in the area joined together to make one larger district.
