Lili Pauline Reinhart (born September 13, 1996) is an American actress. She is best known for playing Betty Cooper in the TV show Riverdale. This show is a teen drama from The CW network and ran from 2017 to 2023. In 2020, Lili also starred as Grace Town in the movie Chemical Hearts. This film was based on a book called Our Chemical Hearts by Krystal Sutherland.

Early life and beginnings
Lili Reinhart was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She grew up in a nearby town called Bay Village. She has German and French family roots.
When she was 10 years old, Lili discovered she loved to sing, act, and dance. She often asked her mom to drive her to New York City for auditions. When she was 18, Lili moved to Los Angeles to become an actress. She almost gave up after five months, but she kept going.
Acting career
Lili Reinhart started her acting journey early. She appeared in a TV pilot called Scientastic! in 2010. She also guest-starred in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2011.
She also acted in several movies. These include Lilith (2011), Not Waving But Drowning (2012), and The Kings of Summer (2013). Other films were Gibsonburg (2013), Forever's End (2013), Miss Stevens (2016), and The Good Neighbor (2016).
Becoming Betty Cooper
On February 9, 2016, Lili Reinhart got a big role. She was chosen to play Betty Cooper in The CW's teen drama Riverdale. This show is based on characters from Archie Comics.
Lili auditioned for the role twice. First, she sent a video from her home. Then, she went in person a month later. Riverdale first aired on January 26, 2017. The show became very popular. Before Riverdale, Lili also worked on the Fox sitcom Surviving Jack.

In 2017, Lili was cast in the movie Galveston. This film was based on a book by Nic Pizzolatto. In the movie, Lili played a character named Tiffany. The film was shown at a festival in March 2018. It was later released in theaters in October 2018.
In 2019, Lili Reinhart had a small appearance in the movie Charlie's Angels.
Recent projects
In June 2019, it was announced that Lili would star in Chemical Hearts. This was a romantic drama film from Amazon Studios. Lili played Grace Town, a high school student with a physical disability. She falls in love with a school newspaper writer. Besides acting in it, Chemical Hearts was Lili's first time as an executive producer. This means she helped make decisions behind the scenes. The movie was released on August 21, 2020, on Amazon Prime Video.
In May 2020, Lili also lent her voice to a character. She voiced Bella-Ella in an episode of Simpsons called "The Hateful Eight-Year-Olds".
In March 2021, it was shared that Lili would star in a film called Look Both Ways. In this movie, she plays Natalie, a college student. Her life splits into two different paths right before she graduates. In one path, she becomes a young mother. In the other, she moves to Los Angeles to follow her career dreams. Look Both Ways was Lili's second time as an executive producer.
In June 2021, Lili Reinhart started her own production company. It is called Small Victory Productions. This company made a deal with Amazon Studios. Small Victory Productions will create new movies and TV shows. They will focus on stories for young adults that celebrate different people and ideas. They also want to help new voices in filmmaking.
Other ventures
In October 2019, Lili Reinhart became an ambassador for American Express. She helped launch their new AmexGreen Card. In the same month, she also became a spokesperson for CoverGirl makeup.
In September 2020, Lili Reinhart released a book of poetry. It is called Swimming Lessons: Poems. The book talks about topics like young love and heartbreak. For the week of October 18, 2020, her book was number 2 on The New York Times Best Seller list for paperback fiction.
