Lilit Hovhannisyan's Career
Early Career and Hay Superstar
Lilit started her journey in music by joining the first season of Hay Superstar. This show is like the Armenian version of Pop Idol. She made it to the finals and finished in fourth place out of ten contestants. This happened on July 3, 2006.
Music Success and Popular Videos
After her time on Hay Superstar, Lilit released many successful songs. Her music videos became very popular online. For example, her song "Im tiknikn es" had over 117 million views by September 2021. This made it one of the most-watched songs by an Armenian artist on YouTube. Other videos like "Gnchu," "Es Em Horinel," and "De El Mi" also got millions of views.
In 2013, Lilit performed a special concert in Los Angeles, California. It was called 'Top Stars of Armenia' and she shared the stage with Mihran Tsarukyan.
Fashion Design and World Tour
Lilit is not just a singer; she is also a fashion designer. In 2014, she started an online store. Here, fans can buy unique clothes and accessories that Lilit herself designed.
In 2019, Lilit went on a huge tour called the 'Dream World Tour'. She visited 70 cities around the world! Lilit Hovhannisyan is married to Vardan Petrosyan. He is an Armenian songwriter and music producer. They got married on June 29, 2011.
In August 2019, Lilit received a special award. The City of Los Angeles gave her a Certificate of Appreciation. She was the first Armenian artist to get this honor.
As of April 2024, Lilit has a huge fan base. She has the most followers on social media and YouTube among Armenian artists. She also holds the record for one of the most-viewed songs by an Armenian singer on YouTube.
