Limmie Frank Snell, Jr. (born October 4, 1948 – died May 27, 1986) was an American soul singer. He was born in Dalton, Alabama, USA. Limmie grew up in Canton, Ohio.
He started recording music when he was just 11 years old. He used the name "Limmie B. Good." He recorded for big record companies like Columbia Records and Mercury Records. In 1965, he released the first version of the song "Good Lovin'." This song later became a huge hit for another group called Young Rascals.

Limmie's Music Journey
Starting Young
Limmie Snell began his music career at a very young age. He recorded songs for major labels like Columbia Records and Warner Bros. Records. He was known by the name "Lemme B. Good" during this time.
In 1965, Limmie released his own song called "Good Lovin'." This song later became famous when another band, The Young Rascals, covered it.
Limmie & Family Cookin'
Later, Limmie formed a music group called Limmie & Family Cookin'. This group was based in Canton, Ohio. Limmie sang with his two sisters, Martha and Jimmie. Jimmie Snell sang lead on some of their popular songs.
The group released music with Scepter Records and then Atco Records. They had three hit songs in the UK. These hits included "You Can Do Magic," "Dreamboat," and "A Walkin' Miracle."
After the Group
After Limmie & Family Cookin' broke up, Limmie stayed in the UK. He formed new bands like Limmie Funk and Limmie Funk Limited. These bands toured the UK in 1976.
Some musicians from these bands later became successful in other groups. For example, members went on to form New Musik. Others joined famous new wave bands like Ultravox and Magazine.
Limmie's Legacy
Limmie Snell continued to write and record music throughout his life. He passed away in May 1986 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was buried in Canton, Ohio.
Limmie had several children. One of his sons, Limmie Snell Junior, still records music in Europe today.
