Linda Elin Ulvaeus (born on February 23, 1973) is a Swedish actress and singer. She is famous for being the older child of Björn Ulvaeus and Agnetha Fältskog. Her parents were both members of the super popular pop group ABBA.

Early Life

Linda Ulvaeus was born in Danderyd Hospital in Danderyd, Sweden. She is the only daughter of Björn Ulvaeus and Agnetha Fältskog. Her younger brother, Peter Christian Ulvaeus, was born a few years later, on December 4, 1977.

Career Highlights

Linda Ulvaeus started her music career very early. In 1981, when she was just 8 years old, she released an album with her mother. The album was called Nu tändas tusen juleljus, which means "Now a thousand Christmas candles are lit." This album featured 18 traditional Christmas songs and children's tunes in Swedish. Even though it was recorded in November 1980, it came out almost a year later.

Linda was also the inspiration for a famous ABBA song! Her father wrote the song "Slipping Through My Fingers" about her. This song talks about how fast children grow up.

As she grew older, Linda became an actress for both stage and screen. Her first movie role was in Under solen (1998), where she played a character named Lena. After that, she appeared in the TV show Labyrinten in 2000. In 2001, she was in a video-only release called Blå måndag.

Linda also helped her mother with music again. In 2004, she was a backing vocalist on her mother's song "When You Walk in the Room". This song was quite popular in Sweden, reaching number 11 on the music charts. Linda continued acting, appearing in the film Meningen med alltihopa (2006) as Sofia. She was also in the TV series Playa del Sol in 2007. More recently, Linda played Birgitta Ståle in the Swedish film Quick (2019).
