Linda Wilscam was born in 1949. Her parents were Maurice Wilscam and Gabrielle Arsenault. She loved performing and learning about drama. In 1971, she graduated from the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Montréal. This is a special school for acting in Montreal.
Creating Picotine
Linda Wilscam first created the fun character named Picotine for summer plays. People loved Picotine so much that Linda decided to bring her to television. She then starred as Picotine in a TV series with the same name. The show was very popular and ran from 1971 to 1976.
