She has worked on many projects, both behind the camera and writing stories. As a producer, she helped create films like Playing for Time (1980), The Royal Romance of Charles and Diana (1982), and Second Serve (1986).

Linda Yellen has also directed several films. These include Northern Lights (1997), The Simian Line (2001), and William & Catherine: A Royal Romance (2011). She also directed The Last Film Festival (2016), which was the final movie for actor Dennis Hopper.

Linda's work has won many awards. She has received 2 Peabody Awards and 7 Emmy Awards. One of her Emmys was for producing Playing for Time in 1981. She also won a Silver Nymph and 2 Christopher Awards.
