A Look Back: Linkville's History
Linkville was founded in 1866. A person named M. J. Link, along with others, helped create this community. For many years, people living in Linkville could use their own local post office. This post office opened in 1884. It was an important place for sending and receiving letters and packages. However, the post office eventually closed down in 1903. Even though the post office is gone, Linkville remains a part of Marshall County's history.
