Lino Grech (1930 – 1 December 2013) was a talented Maltese actor, writer, and director. He was also an activist who worked to help others. Lino Grech was well-known for his roles in movies like Final Justice (1985), Black Eagle (1988), and A Fine Romance (1989).

Lino Grech was born in Sliema, a town in Malta. He passed away on December 1, 2013, when he was 83 years old. He died in Msida, Malta. Lino Grech was survived by his wife, Frances Grech, and their two children. His funeral was held a few days later, on December 4.
Lino Grech's Amazing Career
Lino Grech started his career in 1975. He began by working on stage plays. He even translated plays by famous writers like Arthur Miller and Lope de Vega into Maltese.
Grech became very famous for his role in the television drama F'Bahar Wiehed. This show was broadcast in the 1970s. It was a very important show because it was the first television series ever made in the Maltese language. It was shown on TVM, Malta's national television station.
Besides acting, Lino Grech also directed and wrote many stage plays. He had a big dream to make theatre and television stronger and more popular in Malta.
In the 1990s, he continued to write for television. He wrote episodes for several popular TV shows. Some of these shows included Hypocrites, Simpatiċi, The Family Grech, and Now We See.
