Lisa Papademetriou (born August 25, 1971) is an American author of young adult fiction. This means she writes books mainly for teenagers.
Lisa's Journey as a Writer
Lisa Papademetriou was born on August 25, 1971. She grew up in Houston, Texas. She went to West University Elementary School, Lanier Middle School, and Episcopal High School in Houston.
After high school, she attended Vassar College. She graduated from Vassar in 1993.
Her first book was called Sixth Grade Glommers, Norks, and Me. It was published in 2006 by Hyperion. Since then, Lisa has written or adapted over thirty books! These books are for children and young adults.
One of her books, M or F? : a novel, came out in 2005. It is very popular and can be found in over 500 libraries. She also wrote the fun "Accidentally" series. This series includes Accidentally Fabulous, Accidentally Famous, Accidentally Fooled, and Accidentally Friends. She also wrote How to Be a Girly Girl in Just 10 Days and Ice Dreams. These books were part of Scholastic's Candy Apple series.
