Fort Wayne, Indiana, is home to some really tall buildings! For many years, from 1930 to 1962, the Lincoln Bank Tower was the tallest building in all of Indiana. Today, the tallest building in Fort Wayne is the Indiana Michigan Power Center. It has 27 floors and stands about 442 feet (135 meters) tall. This makes it the fourth-tallest building in Indiana and the tallest one outside of Indianapolis. It's also the tallest building in Indiana made from reinforced concrete!
The second-tallest building in Fort Wayne is the PNC Center, which is about 339 feet (103 meters) tall. Out of the 40 tallest buildings in Indiana, three of them are right here in Fort Wayne. As of 2015, the city had two very tall skyscrapers and ten other tall buildings, with one more being built.
