The Little Maquoketa River is a river in Iowa, US. It is about 29.6 miles (47.6 km) long. This river flows directly into the Mississippi River, which is one of the longest rivers in North America.
The Little Maquoketa River mostly stays within Dubuque County, Iowa. It joins the Mississippi River in the countryside north of the city of Dubuque.
It is important not to confuse the Little Maquoketa River with another river called the Maquoketa River. Even though both rivers flow into the Mississippi River, they are completely separate. One does not flow into the other.
