History of Locust Corner
Locust Corner got its start a long time ago, around the year 1830. Back then, it was known by a different name: Pleasant Hill. The very first store in the area opened around that time, helping the community grow. Later, in 1846, a post office was opened there, and it was given the name Locust Corner. This post office helped people send and receive mail until it closed down in 1905.
