Lorena Bernal's Early Life
Lorena Bernal was born in San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina. When she was 9 years old, her family moved to San Sebastián, Spain.
She went to school there at the French Lycée Français. Later, she studied at the Maurice Ravel school in Saint Jean de Luz, which is just across the border in France. Lorena is very good at languages; she can speak Spanish, English, and French fluently!
Lorena Bernal's Career Journey
Lorena started working as a model when she was only seven years old. She began taking drama classes when she was 13.
In 1999, at just 17 years old, Lorena won the title of Miss Spain. She was too young to compete in the Miss Universe contest that year. Instead, she entered the Miss World competition and was one of the top 10 finalists!
Since then, Lorena has continued to work as a model. She has also become a TV host and an actress. She has worked in both Spain and the United States. You might have seen her in American TV shows like Chuck or CSI: Miami. In Chuck, she played an international arms dealer. In CSI: Miami, she was a nanny named Mía in an episode called "My Nanny."

Lorena Bernal is married to Mikel Arteta. Mikel is a former football player from Spain. Today, he is the manager of the Premier League football club Arsenal. He also used to play for Everton.
Lorena and Mikel have three children. Their first son, Gabriel, was born in Spain in 2009. Their second son, Daniel, was born in 2012. Their third son, Oliver, was also born in Spain in 2015.
