Lotta på Liseberg (which means Lotta at Liseberg) is a popular Swedish TV show. It's also known as Allsång på Liseberg (Sing-along at Liseberg). The show is all about singing together!
It takes place at the Stora scenen (Big Stage) in the fun amusement park Liseberg in Gothenburg, Sweden. Every summer, on Monday evenings, people gather to sing along. The show started way back in 2004.
The host of the show is Lotta Engberg, a well-known Swedish TV presenter and singer. She leads everyone in the singing. For many years, Curt-Eric Holmquist, a talented pianist, helped lead the music. The show was produced by Eyeworks for some years, and later by Warner Bros. Television. It was broadcast on the TV4 channel from 2014 until 2023.

Jul-Lotta på Liseberg Explained
In December 2005, a special winter version of the show began. It was called Jul-Lotta på Liseberg (Christmas-Lotta at Liseberg). The name "Jul-Lotta" is a fun mix of "Julotta" (a traditional Swedish Christmas morning church service) and Lotta's name.
This Christmas show has been broadcast on TV4 since 2011. It's a cozy way to celebrate the holiday season with music.
Songs and Broadcast Details
The Jul-Lotta show has special songs for its beginning and end. The intro song is "Hej, mitt vinterland" (Hello, my winter land). The outro song is "O Holy Night" (which is called O helga natt in Swedish).
These Christmas shows are usually broadcast on Sundays during the Christmas season. There are typically four episodes each year, bringing festive cheer to homes across Sweden.
