Louga Region facts for kids
Louga is a special area, called a region, located in the northwest part of Senegal, a country in West Africa. The main city and capital of this region is also named Louga.
In 2013, about 835,325 people lived in the Louga Region. It covers a large area of 24,889 square kilometers (about 9,600 square miles).
