Louise was born in Dusseldorf, Germany. Her father was Lieutenant General Ernst Ludwig von Tippelskirch. He was an important military leader in Berlin.

Louise Strantz's Early Life and Music Journey
Louise loved music from a young age. She studied with teachers like Constanze Blank, Jaehns, and Pax. In 1842, she married Adolf von Strantz. They moved to Berlin, where she lived for the rest of her life.
Louise was also a gifted singer. In 1852, she performed in Vienna. She sang in the opera Le Prophete by Giacomo Meyerbeer. People really liked her performance! She was even planning to sing in London in 1853.
Her Creative Works
Louise Strantz was a composer and a poet. Another composer, Franz Bendel, even used her words for his song Wiegenlied. Her music was published by companies like Bote & Bock and Tobias Haslinger.
Her compositions included many pieces for piano and voice.
