Maria Lourdes Ciuró i Buldó (born June 3, 1971) is a lawyer and politician from Catalonia, Spain. She has held important positions in the Spanish government and local councils. She is known for her work in law and her political career.

Early Life and Education
Lourdes Ciuró was born in Reus, a city in Catalonia. She studied law at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. After finishing her studies, she became a lawyer. In 2003, she joined a political party called the Democratic Convergence of Catalonia (CDC).
Political Career
Lourdes Ciuró worked as a lawyer from 1994 to 2011. She specialized in laws about property and families. She is a member of the lawyer groups in Barcelona and Sabadell.
Local Government Roles
Ciuró started her political career in local government. In 2007, she ran for election in Sabadell as part of the Convergence and Union (CiU) group. She was elected to the Sabadell Municipal Council. She was elected again in 2011.
Serving in the Spanish Parliament
In 2011, Lourdes Ciuró was elected to the Congress of Deputies of Spain. This is like being a member of parliament for the whole country. She represented the Province of Barcelona. She was re-elected in both the 2015 and 2016 general elections.
Later Political Activities
In 2017, Ciuró ran in the regional election for Catalonia but was not elected. In July 2018, she was chosen to be part of the leadership team for the Catalan European Democratic Party (PDeCAT).
In February 2018, she was chosen as the PDeCAT's candidate for mayor of Sabadell. She ran in the 2019 local elections as a candidate for Together for Catalonia. She was elected to the council again, but she did not become mayor.
In May 2024, Ciuró was a candidate for the Catalan Parliament. She spoke about her party's goals for Catalonia. She talked about wanting a new financial agreement with Madrid. She also called for the return of former President Carles Puigdemont. She said her party was the best choice for a strong Catalan government.
Minister of Justice
From May 2021 to October 2022, Lourdes Ciuró served as the Minister of Justice of Catalonia. In this important role, she was in charge of legal matters for the Catalan government.
