Her Political Journey
Before becoming a full-time politician, Lourdes Ciuró worked as a lawyer from 1994 to 2011. She focused on real estate (things like buying and selling houses) and family law (rules about families, like divorce or child custody). She is a member of the groups for lawyers in Barcelona and Sabadell.

In 2018, Lourdes Ciuró was chosen to be the candidate for mayor of Sabadell for her party, the Catalan European Democratic Party (PDeCAT). She ran in the 2019 local elections and was re-elected to the Sabadell council, but she did not become mayor.
In May 2024, Ciuró, running for the Catalan Parliament with the Together for Catalonia party, spoke about her party's goals. She talked about getting a new financial agreement with the Spanish government in Madrid. She also called for the return of former President Carles Puigdemont.
