Lucette Destouches (born Lucie Almansor; 20 July 1912 – 8 November 2019) was a French dancer. She was married to the famous writer Louis-Ferdinand Céline. They were together until his death in 1961.

Her Early Life and Marriage
Lucette Destouches was born in Paris, France, on 20 July 1912. Her parents were Joseph Almansor and Gabrielle Donas Lucie Georgette Almansor.
She married Louis-Ferdinand Céline on 15 February 1943. Their wedding took place in the 18th area of Paris.
Life During World War II
During World War II, Lucette and her husband faced difficulties. Céline had expressed some views that were not popular at the time. Because of this, they had to leave France in September 1944.
They first went to Germany to stay safe. Later, they moved to Denmark before they could finally return to France.
Lucette in Books
Lucette Destouches was a big part of Céline's life. He even wrote about her in some of his novels. In these books, she was known by the character name "Lili."

After Céline's Death

After her husband's death, Lucette Destouches focused on her passion. She became a teacher of classical dance. She shared her knowledge with many students.

Her Later Years
On her 100th birthday in 2012, Lucette Destouches was honored. A series of texts were written about her by David Alliot. These texts were titled Madame Céline.
Lucette Destouches lived a very long life. She passed away on 8 November 2019. She was 107 years old when she died at her home in Meudon, France.
