Lukas Bärfuss (born December 30, 1971) is a famous Swiss writer. He writes plays and books in German. In 2019, he won a very important award called the Georg Büchner Prize.

Lukas Bärfuss was born in Thun, Switzerland, in 1971. After finishing high school, he started learning to be a bookseller. In 1998, he helped start a theater group called 400asa. This group created their own plays and shows.

Awards and Prizes
