Luna Alcalay (born October 21, 1928, died October 9, 2012) was a talented musician. She was a pianist, a music teacher, and a composer. Luna was born in Croatia but later became an Austrian citizen.

About Luna Alcalay

Luna Alcalay was born in Zagreb, Croatia. She came from a Jewish family. She loved music and studied piano with Bruno Seidlhofer. She also learned how to compose music from Alfred Uhl. Luna studied at the Vienna Academy of Music. In 1958, she won a special scholarship. This allowed her to continue her music studies in Rome. After finishing her education, Luna went back to Vienna. There, she became a piano professor. She taught many students at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts.
