M.A.S.K. is an exciting animated TV show that aired from 1985 to 1986. It was created by DIC Audiovisuel and ICC TV Productions. The show was based on the popular M.A.S.K. action figures. These toys were made by Kenner Products. The animation for the series was done in Japan.

About the M.A.S.K. TV Show
M.A.S.K. stands for Mobile Armored Strike Kommand. It is a special team of heroes. They are led by a character named Matt Trakker. The M.A.S.K. team uses cool vehicles that can change their shape. These vehicles help them fight against a bad guy group called V.E.N.O.M.
V.E.N.O.M. stands for Vicious Evil Network Of Mayhem. Both the heroes and the villains in the show wear special helmets. These helmets are called "masks" and give them superpowers. V.E.N.O.M. often tries to steal money or valuable items. But M.A.S.K. always finds a way to stop their evil plans.

Many talented voice actors brought the characters of M.A.S.K. to life. Here are some of the main voices you would hear:
- Doug Stone voiced Matt Trakker, the leader of M.A.S.K. He also played Hondo MacLean, Dusty Hayes, Bruce Sato, Nash Gorey, Bruno Sheppard, Boris Bushkin, and Maximus Mayhem.
- Brendan McKane was the voice of Miles Mayhem, the leader of V.E.N.O.M. He also voiced Alex Sector, Floyd Malloy, Jacques LaFleur, and Nevada Rushmore.
- Graeme McKenna voiced T-Bob, Brad Turner, Julio Lopez, and Calhoun Burns.

Episodes and Seasons
The M.A.S.K. TV show had a total of 75 episodes. These episodes were shown from September 1985 to November 1986. The show had two seasons.
First Season: Crimefighting Adventures
The first season was the longest, with 65 episodes. In these episodes, the M.A.S.K. team focused on fighting crime. They stopped V.E.N.O.M. from doing bad things like stealing and trying to trick people.
Second Season: Racing Challenges
The second season was much shorter, with only 10 episodes. The theme of this season changed. Instead of fighting crime, the stories were about exciting auto racing.
M.A.S.K. on Home Video
Over the years, fans have been able to watch M.A.S.K. episodes at home.
VHS Releases
In the 1980s, some episodes were released on VHS tapes. These tapes usually had two episodes on each one. Later, the racing-themed second season was also released on video. In the United Kingdom, some episodes were even edited together into longer "movie" formats.
DVD Collections
Later, all the M.A.S.K. episodes became available on DVD.
- In the USA: A company called Shout! Factory released a "Complete Series" DVD set in 2011. This set included the 65 episodes from the first season.
- In the UK: All 75 episodes were released across two different DVD sets.
- In Australia and New Zealand: Madman Entertainment released the complete series in two DVD collections. The first collection came out in 2006, and the second in 2007.
M.A.S.K. in Movies
There have been talks about bringing M.A.S.K. to the big screen! In 2015, news came out that Hasbro and Paramount were planning a movie universe. This universe would combine M.A.S.K. with other popular toy lines like G.I. Joe. Many writers have worked on ideas for the movie. In 2018, it was announced that F. Gary Gray would direct the live-action movie. A scriptwriter was announced in 2020.
